What You Should Know

before pointing your hashrate here

Blackshirt Crypto is an independently operated, single-person mining pool. There is no corporation behind this. No team of engineers on call. No redundant data center with automatic failover. There is one person, one server, and a genuine commitment to doing this as well as it can possibly be done. That is worth understanding before you connect.

Uptime & Pool Risk

Pools go offline. Power outages, VPS maintenance, software updates, unexpected errors — any of it can take this pool down without warning and sometimes without the ability to give advance notice. This is the nature of independently run infrastructure and I will not pretend otherwise.

Every miner connecting here should have a backup pool configured in their miner settings. If this pool disappears for an hour or a day, that is not cause for alarm — it is cause for your failover to kick in. Plan accordingly. I will communicate outages and maintenance windows whenever I am able, but I cannot promise that will always be possible in advance.

Suggested Backup Pools

Backup pool suggestions coming soon — check back or ask in the community Discord channels.

Transparency & Trust

This is my first mining pool. The PPLNS payout system running on this server is something I built, tested, and continue to refine. I am not a professional software developer. I am someone who believes deeply in what Proof of Work represents and who has committed to building something worthy of that belief.

My goal is to earn your trust through transparency and consistency — not through promises. I will make mistakes. When I do, I will own them, fix them, and communicate openly about what happened. That is the only guarantee I can honestly offer. I ask for your patience in return, and I will not take it for granted.

Questions & Support

If you have questions or concerns, the best first step is always the official Discord community channels for whichever coin you are mining. That is where the collective knowledge lives, and an answer posted there helps everyone — not just you.

For matters that are specific or personal in nature, Discord direct message is available. However, I do not accept cold first-contact DMs. Introduce yourself in a community channel first. That is not a barrier — it is how trust gets built on both sides.
