A Declaration of Intent
On the eve of America's 250th year…
and why that is the whole point
Pool fee — now and for as long as I am able
Two hundred and fifty years ago, a group of ordinary people made an extraordinary decision. They looked at the system that governed them — the ledger that tracked their debts, their labor, their worth — and they said: no more. Not with permission. Not with a petition. With proof of work.
That is what Proof of Work is, at its core. It is the only system ever devised where no one can create something from nothing. No authority can print a block. No committee can vote a coin into existence. You must spend real energy, real time, real effort — and in return, the network grants you what you earned. It is as close to honest money as humanity has ever built.
Solo mining is the purest expression of that idea. When you mine solo, there is no pool operator standing between you and the network. No intermediary holding your reward. No custodian you must trust. If your machine finds the block, the coins go directly to your wallet. Your work. Your energy. Your coins. Exactly as it was meant to be.
I charge zero percent because I believe the fee itself is a statement. Every percentage point a pool takes is a small concession — a small permission granted to a middleman. I am not interested in being your middleman. I am interested in helping you mine the way the protocol intended: sovereign, direct, and accountable to no one but the chain itself.
The 250th anniversary of the United States is a moment to reflect on what those ideals actually mean — not as symbols on a coin, but as a living practice. Freedom is not something you are given. It is something you exercise. In 1776, they exercised it with ink and iron. Today, we exercise it with hash power and open source code.
This pool exists because I believe in that. Not as a business model. Not as a brand. As a conviction. Run your own node. Mine your own blocks. Hold your own keys. That is the revolution that is still available to anyone with a machine and the willingness to plug it in.
Zero percent is not a promotion. It is not a limited-time offer. It is a declaration of what this place is for.
Your work. Your energy. Your coins. Your freedom.
